Day 1 – Sunday

In the morning, we will leave Quito by plane and arrive in Manta, after a flight of 45 minutes.

From Manta, we will drive along the beautiful coast of Ecuador in a private bus until we arrive at the picturesque fishing village PUERTO LOPEZ.

After checking into the four-star hotel MANDALA, we will refresh ourselves in the Pacific Ocean.

In the evening, we will enjoy the marvelous seafood in a typical restaurant at the promenade.

Day 2 – Monday

On the second day, we will take a boat trip to the “ISLA DE LA PLATA”, “The Silver Island”.

On this trip we will observe the same bird species that are common on the Galapagos Island, like the blue foot boobies, the comoran, albatross and many more. We will also see sealions and geckos. By snorkeling we will get to know the colourful marine life.

In the evening we will test some tropical cocktails in a local bar.

Day 3 Tuesday

On our last day at the coast, we will visit the jewels of “The National Park Machalilla”: The beautiful beaches of Los Frailes,

and the Community Agua Blanca. They will invite us to take a healthy bath in their natural springs.

Day 4 – Wednesday

In the morning we will leave the Coast by plane and after a short stop in Quito we will drive to Otavalo. This is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Ecuador. We will visit the Lagoon of Mojanda and the biggest handicrafts market of Ecuador. In the evening we will taste the typical dishes of the Ecuatorian Sierra and enjoy live music of a Quechua band.

Day 5 – Thursday

We will drive back to Quito to experience some highly interesting physical experiments at the Half of the World ”Mitad del Mundo” on the equatorial line. In the afternoon, we will get to know the historical center of Quito. It is famous for its chapels, churches and architecture from the beginning of the 20th century. It is titled mundane patrimony by the UNESCO.

We also will visit the museum of the famous ecuatorian painter Guayasamin and will have a farewell-dinner in a typical restaurant .
