Arrival in Quito at 10:30pm. We pick you up from the airport and bring you to the 4****Hotel Sol de Quito. If you are not too tired we can go for dinner or cocktails into the New Town of Quito.

Leaving for the Amazonas. After 90 minutes of travelling up to a height of 4000 metres we arrive at Papallactas, to enjoy hot springs that are famous for its curative ingredients and essences. After lunch we keep on travelling down to east where we visit an animal rescue center with animals of the Amazon region. In the evening we arrive in Tena, in the Hosteria Las Orquideas. If you want you can swim in the pool before we go for dinner in town and spend some nice time in the bars close to the river.

Getting up early to drive to the Centro Kichwa Morete. We cross the river by canoe to visit a little school to give some presents to the kids (there won´t be much because of the holidays but sure we will find a somebody). Then we get to a different village to start a 2-Days-Trip into the jungle. By canoe we get to Misicocha, where we walk through primary forest and get to know about a lot of different medicinal plants. After two hours we arrive at the village Rio Blanco to relax, have lunch and take a bath. Later on we walk to the “tree of life” and get to know more about the Kichwa culture and the jungle. In the evening we meet the shaman of the village to take part in a cleaning ceremony and talk about life in the jungle and the cosomovision of the native people.
The next day we walk to the waterfalls and spent the day swimming and relaxing. After lunch we wash gold in the river, shoot with the blowgun and learn how to do traditional traps for different kind of animals, before we are heading back to Tena.
After dinner we start our travel to the coast (8 – 10 hours).
28., 29., 30.
We arrive in the morning in the province of Santa Elena, we will visit different kind of fishing villages and have a typical breakfast, visit an aquarium and finally get to Puerto Lopez, where we stay for the next 3 days relaxing on the beach, swimming, fishing, get to know the surroundings and a lot of different beaches, National Park Machalilla, hot springs in the community Agua Blanca, trip to the Silver Island, snorkeling, playing cards with the fishermen, or driving up the coast etc.
In the night of the 30th we get back to Quito by car (8 – 10 hours), or if you prefer we take a plane from Manta (tell me as soon as possible, in these days it will be quite booked out).

Back in Quito we visit the equatorial line to do some interesting experiments in the INTI ÑAÑ Museum and get to know more about the Earth. In the afternoon we visit the Old Town of Quito with its churches and museums. The night we will spend with in a traditional restaurant to have a farewell dinner.
